Tigers No. 23 prospect Matt Hall has been nearly untouchable for Double-A Erie. Hall, who set a season high with 10 strikeouts, fired six scoreless innings for the SeaWolves, but that should hardly come as a surprise. Hall hasn't surrendered an earned run in 31 1/3 innings, a span of eight appearances (four starts). In fact, Hall has held the opposing lineup without an earned run in 20 of his 26 appearances this season and boasts a miniscule 1.58 ERA through 57 innings.

Tigers' Franklin Perez: Activated at High-A.
Perez (lat) is off the disabled list and will start Tuesday for High-A Lakeland, Emily Waldon of The Athletic Detroit reports.

It's not a surprise that Perez was activated, as he had made three rehab starts already, but it is a bit of a surprise that he was activated at High-A and not Double-A, where he finished the 2017 season. Perez, who had been on the disabled list with a lat injury all season, is one of the Tigers' best pitching prospects and could quickly force a promotion to Double-A Erie.
