Detroit Tigers Minor League Notes

The Tigers have promoted right-hander Jackson Jobe (2021 No. 3 overall pick) to Double-A Erie.
RHP Jackson Jobe, catcher Eliezer Alfonzo and RHP Trevin Michael are scheduled to join the erie_seawolves this week, where they?re expected to make their Double A debuts.
Jobe is slated to start Sunday?s game for the SeaWolves.

In the 1970s, the Tigers drafted a third-baseman with a big body and fast bat: Lance Parrish, and made him a catcher. Detroit's doing the same with another big body -- and big bat -- in New Zealand native and Australia-stamped prospect Clayton Campbell.

look guys..Keith and Jung are gonna play next year as regulars at some point..so is Meadows..you can only play so many rookies..Malloy is a DH an Eddys..is ..we aren't sure what he is yet..

Cuban OF Samuel Sanchez (16) officially signs with the Detroit Tigers. Bonus deal: $ 350,000.

He is the Cuba born player #30 who signs in the current international period.

Sanchez left the country in 2020 with 14 years old. Some scouts believe that Samuel is a good athlete with potential: speed, arm and hard exit velo as contact hitter are his main tools right now.
