Some big plays early in gm - Fielder gave Tigers 1-0 lead on double crushed up RCF gap...then came defensive play of the day....

Arencibia, leading off 2nd, crushed ball to LF, Kelly tracked it, timed jump perfectly, crashed into fence, and took HR away....beautiful...

Avila led off bot. 2nd w/ 2nd HR of yr - 1st since baby daughter was born Sun. Jays scored to make it 2-1....then came big blow of the gm...

Rally in 4th started, as so many do, w/ Jackson single. Hunter singled. Then Cabrera FB to RF just carried fence...1st HR of yr made it 5-1,

Anibal Sanchez was strong today - looked a lot like the Sanchez we saw last 11GS last year...7IP, 2ER on 5H, 1BB/8K, gets first W of the year...

Cabrera's 4H gm was his 2nd of the year, 4RBI give him 10 in 7G...Fielder now has 9RBI. Hunter now has 14 hits in 7G, on pace for 324..

Pretty neat moment when crowd saw it was Hunter's 2000th hit...a nice standing O...he's fast becoming a fan favorite, which is no surprise...

Tigers have now scored 7 or 8R in 3 of last 4G...15 hit attack today after 17H on Sat. Tigers now 4-3, Blue Jays fall to 2-5...

Since Smyly threw just seven pitches, Leyland said he'd still be avail. in long role.
