Max Scherzer, Doug Fister and other Tigers pitchers throw bullpen sessions today.

First mammoth Fielder HR for #Tigers: He sends out a ball in BP on back fields that knocks down a branch from trees beyond RF fence.

Boesch clears RF trees in BP on back fields. Hand appears to be just fine.
One of the $ 64,000.00 questions- how much of Boesch's second half slide was due to injuries?
Didn't BB also have an issue with a hammy or something? IF he can consistently put up his 1st half numbers, look out!

Don Kelly on way in from Tigers workout earlier: "You missed my bullpen."

"I just wanted to get here," said Fielder, who lives about 35 minutes from Lakeland in Orlando. "I had nothing else to do. I figured I'd come out here and work out a little bit and get things started."

Hope that Prince doesn't press and/or becomes overanxious to impress in order to "justify" his huge contract. Good to see him voluntarily come to Lakeland ahead of schedule though.
