Mitch[/color]]I understand wanting him to pitch against Chicago but why give your number one stud an extra day. He gave JV an extra day last week as well. Suppose to pitch them more not less. That KC game is important too. It would be nice to see Turner again though.

This won't affect his remaining start total, just who those starts are against.

He's now slated to start against the White Sox once and Cleveland twice. Those games are more important than the one against KC.

1968 - In the showdown in Detroit, 53,575 fans cheer as P Earl Wilson pitches a 4-hit 9 - 1 victory over 2nd place Baltimore. Wilson adds four RBIs on two hits, including his 5th home run of the year.

1995: Tiger teammates Lou Whitaker and Alan Trammell tie an American League record by playing in their 1,914th game together, a 10 - 7 loss to the White Sox. The record was set by KC's George Brett and 2B Frank White. Trammell and Whitaker will finish with 1,918 games played together.
