Detroit Tigers over-under recaps: MLive readers confident Tigers will win plenty of games in 2013.
from Mlive

Dunno exactly how many games that I believe that the Tigers will win at the end of this coming season, probably will be more than 90...BUT perhaps less than the 96 that Schmehl is predicting.

I of course would LOVE to see the Tigers '13 team set a new franchise record in winning over 104 games, but it isn't likely going to happen...or will it...? :hmm:

March 25 in Tigers and mlb history:

1910 - The Chalmers Auto Company of Detroit agrees to award a new car to the player who owns the highest batting average at season's end. Nap Lajoie will win a disputed batting title over Ty Cobb in a controversial finish, but Chalmers will award cars to both players in an effort to save face.

Virgil Trucks, 95, threw two no-hitters in the major leagues.

I remember he came out to Comerica and had his picture taken with Verlander after JV's second no hitter 2 years ago.
Dad saw plenty of him in the early part of his career with Detroit and said he was fast...near Bob feller fastball fast if not equal. 95 years is a long life. ' In his heart 'Always a Tiger'.

Tigers announce they've struck a deal with Rays to keep Rule 5 acquisition Kyle Lobstein, trading C Curt Casali. Outright Lobstein to Erie AA.

TigersProspects in your opinion top catcher in the system? or 2nd 3rd?

@KalineCountry 2nd behind McCann. But could have vaulted to 1st with a good 2013.
