Does Jim Leyland hate me?

Inge is going to DH today....WHAT IN THE FUCK ARE YOU THINKING JIM?

I took 2 excedrin aspirin after reading todays lineup.

Who was that player some years ago that said in the media "Him or He Hate Me".
That's all I could think of with this Inge crap, Leyland, Young in left with Dirks a frggn' DH,
and the 'Butcher of Comerica' at 2B.

It's almost like Jim is trying to prove that you can lose with arguable one of the most talented teams in baseball.

i still wish he'd been fired. he's as bad of a game manager as randy smith was a GM. his only plus is how he handles the clubhouse.

Leyland had a terrific 2011 managing. Unfortunately his correct button-pushing hasn't carried-over into 2012 thus far.

Here's a very generous early grade of C-

I thought for sure Inge would be at 3B today and Cabrera DH.

Why are you guys surprised when Leyland keeps his word? He said that Young and Cabrera would not be seeing much time at DH and they haven't. He said Inge would play against lefties and he is. Find a way to get over it and enjoy the season. Leyland is going to play the guys that are on the roster, he always has. I think using all 25 benefits the team at some point, I just wish there was a slightly different 25.

Schlereth is getting a lot of work, which I agree is frustrating. But, there's no need to wear out Dotel, Benoit and Valverde, who have all had a ton of appearances in recent years. It's cold in April and probably not a great time to overuse the veteran relievers.

To me...this is the Tigers' best offensive and defensive lineup. We have yet to see it this season.

Jackson CF
Avila C
Cabrera 3B
Fielder 1B
Young DH
Boesch RF
Peralta SS
Santiago 2B
Dirks LF

I still would rather have OBP at the top of the order over speed.

Young hitting fifth is awful, in my opinion. Young is an OBP nightmare and a doubleplay machine.

Believe me, I only had him there to maintain the lefty/righty alternation. I guess you could flip flop Young with Peralta.

The copy and paste of cmlfactor's lineup, looks good, righty/lefty down the lineup, taking pitches and better obp at top of the order, but as JimRice said, Young at the 5 spot,
I would rather see Boesch and Peralta move up and drop Young to 7th.

"It is likely we won't see any of that", signed Leyland.
