Jim Watkins, owner of 8chan, the website the manifesto was uploaded to, released a statement Tuesday claiming the manifesto was not uploaded by the Walmart shooter.
?I don?t know if he wrote it or not, but it was not uploaded by the murderer. That is clear, and law enforcement was made aware of this before most people had even heard the horrific news,? Watkins said.

8chan was also dropped by internet security company Cloudflare following the attack.
Additionally, Twitter user Taylor made a 3, who claims to have grown up with Crusius, posted a message on Sunday alleging the shooter is autistic and that he couldn?t have written the manifesto.

Yes but it didn't come from Jones it came from Jim Wakins and picked up by Jones. I also noted within the first couple of hours those idiots had an article up suggesting it was likely cartel related. I just SMH and said no no no damit! Jones still doesn't adhere to my recommend 48 hour rule that stupid gay frog. It wasn't from Jones directly rather one of his writers but still he should make that a rule for everyone under him. If he'd just do that one thing it would be a lot better for him IMO, in fact.. same could be said for many of the MSM outlets also.

According to the article I read, Watkins seems to be saying the manifesto was first published on Instagram (doesn't say who posted it) and then someone other than the shooter took it from there and posted it on 8chan. The article doesn't say Watkins claimed the same or a different person first posted it on Instagram - I don't know if he could even know that.

Correct and I think it's worth asking if the narrative has been 100% confirmed yet. Doesn't seem like it has. idk the standard media folks only hammered on 8chan and were more less saying 99% for sure he posted it to 8chan 20 mins before. did he? I really don't know, guy that runs the site says no it wasn't him that posted it to 8chan..idk.. IMO it typically take approx 48 hours to "start" sorting out fact from fiction
