Winner gets the divisions and a playoff series. Losers go to a 1 game playoff wildcard game against each other.

Brewers at Cubs.........Both teams are 95-67.
1:00 pm.

Rockies at Dodgers.....Both teams are 91-71.
4:09 pm

So whoever loses this game has to fly to either Milwaukee or Chicago for a 8pm
Tuesday game, and yet the AL one game playoff game between the A's at Yankees is set for
Wednesday. That makes no sense.

This is pretty cool. Two huge games. I usually don't watch baseball where the Tigers aren't playing but I will tune into these games.

They have the playoffs set before the season. Not much they could do. I'll be rooting for Milwaukee (hard to do but I really really hate the Cubs) & the Rockies.

I might take the day off to watch both - what the hell, right?

Definitely was going to get back home to watch the Dodgers anyway.

First game is up here in five minutes now.

Right. ESPN has the telecast rights to the National League wildcard game and it has been scheduled for Tuesday, tomorrow.

TBS has the telecast rights to the American League wild-card and it has been scheduled for Wednesday.

So it?s basically a telecaster right thing set up way in advance.

this is a good reason for having divisions and two wildcard teams.

Cody Bellinger 2 run home run breaks a scoreless tie, giving the Dodgers the lead.

your Dodgers are breaking it open...up 5-0

Ha, ha....

My Dodgers are a very, very distant second to my Detroit Tigers to me...who, as we all know, were pretty damn bad this year.

But yes, I'll be pulling for the Dodgers as long as they're in it.

If they get eliminated, I won't pay much attention except for maybe watching the late innings of a 7th WS game...

Top of the eight.

Cubs have just flat out lost their offense , and finially down 1-0 in the bottom of the 6th the Colorado Right fielder over runs a easy pop fly out and the have runners on 1st and 2nd with one out and Rizzo up. He freaking swings at the first pitch and rolls over into a 463.. He should be getting the crowd into it be taking that first pitch. What a terrible at bat.

Rockies lead 1-0 going to the bottom of the seventh.

cubs get bases loaded on catcher interference with two outs . It would have been a easy ground out .

Jason Heyward K’s like he always does in the post season. Not even close to contact.

1-0 bottom of the 8th.

Cubs tie it 1-1 on a 0-2 pitch with a runner on second ... I was going to rip Joe for taking out Rizzo for a pinch runner but it makes sense now even with extra inning possible that guy was fast and like a lot of relief pitcher he hardly even looked over to first base. It was a easy steal.

What are you suppose to do guys ?

Waste a pitch lol !

Fuck you Bud Black for not having a lefty face Rizzo. Base hit, pinch runner, steal, single, now tied. Jackass

These umps are so in the Cubs pockets its sickening

That guy hardly even looked over to first and no one was even close to the bag to cover. I really didn’t get the strategy by Black there. Heck they knew he was going to steal the bag .. pitch out or something. I guess I really don’t care who wins . . I just hate that baseball plays 162 or 163 and teams with 96 wins can get bounced like the Tigers did to the 80 something win Cardinal team because the bats go cold. . I guess that is baseball.
