Detroit Lions Podcast Episode 263: Last Detroit Lions Pre-Draft Blast. 85 minutes.

In this episode of The Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris is joined by Jeff Risdon and they deliver your last look at the Detroit Lions positions before the draft. Not just player positions, but the state of Bob Quinn?s draft room and quarterbacks who are lower than top three on the list. They also discuss why it sucks to be Bob Quinn this year and what the Buccaneers look like after picking up Rob Gronkowski. What might it take to have OJ Howard in the Lions future, and what type of effect could he have on the team? We cover that and take your calls on the episode that is your bridge to the 2020 NFL Draft.

Being reported that the Lions have agreed in principle to trade back with Miami and are planning on having the 5th pick tonight.

Okudah or Simmons at that slot. Also, Hoping the return gives us another one of the dolphins first round picks, but my guess would be it’s for their second round pick. Which, is still good to move up two slots when both the players you’re targeting are likely to be there.

I am 99% sure it will be Miami's early second round pick...which is fine.

Now you have to hope that NYG makes a pick at 4...then you shop #5 while still trying to stay in the top 10.

agreed. im fine with their rd 2 pick...anything ontop of that is icing. Id be fine with Okudah there based on need....i dunno how good he becomes. Simmons pick i would like. I still think theres a good chance they go Brown or OT as well. Hell trading back again would be great. Imagine if they pulled off a trade down to 5. Then pull off a trade down to 9 with JAx for Ngakoue and more 2nd rd picks! Talk about potential for a quick turnaround for our defense.
