Stanton is a back up, he knows that, all he wants is the opportunity. That is why he wanted out of NYJ and they traded him to Indi. He can give you 3-4 if need be but you don't want him for 16. If they don't get a chance to upgrade (Palmer/Draft) they will be forced to play him, seems Arians is comfortable with that.

Dude regretted it by week 4 last year. As bad as the Lions history of QB's is.....the Cards is just as bad (Warner the exception).

Seriously glad to hear it, because there was a lot of speculation Carson was being brought in as nothing more than a vet that could push Stanton.... which just makes no sense to me.

Of course, since I live in Arizona, and work in the news business, the sudden jump in suicide rate among Cardinals fans might have been good for business too...
