DSF Mock Draft - Round 2 DRAFTING NOW

I don't think it does....I didn't expect them to pick a qb. HOU JAX CLE MIN still have a qb need. I think the fact bridgewater hasn't looked very good is more of a game changer. Id be surprised if 3 qbs get taken in the top 10 anymore. These guys have been overhyped as it is. Take my mock for Jax for example. You could grab manziel in the first.....ORRRR you can do what I did and have an opportunity to grab Watkins and Carr. Should be a no brainer if youre a smart GM. But JAX is dumb....so im sure they'll eff it up.

Watkins to Jax is who NFL.com has mocked to them. If they're going BPA that's who they'll take.

I had not thought of Mallet, but you are right, I can see that happening too. Houston didn't draft the flashy offensive name when Bush was the consensus #1 pick, they may not draft the flashy young QB now. Jadaveon Clowney makes a lot of sense for them.

Don't forget Kirk Cousins

NY Jets select... WR Donte Moncrief out of Ole Miss

There's a shitstorm a-brewin' at the QB position in Jets country with the addition of Mike Vick. With the addition of Ebron at TE, they have a bright future.

Tsmith pm'd the pick - Tre Mason RB Auburn. Sggatecl you are up!

vick, ebron, moncrief....id actually like to see that for a couple games before vick goes down with an injury lol.

Sggatecl as if I couldn't hate the Bears more, Chicago is holding up the draft.

Sorry brah, my son's second birthday party was this weekend and festivities are just coming to a close. I'll have my pick in before the night is done.

Haha, just kidding no rush man. Though it may not seem like it sometimes, we all do have lives outside of Lions fandom. Good luck with those terrible twos.

The Chicago Bears select Marcus Martin, C from the USC.

Rated the #1 center on the board by many analysts.

Cheeno, check your PM for Green Bay's pick in the chance I'm MIA again.

The Arizona Cardinals select Keith McGill, CB, Utah.

With his 6'3" height and 211lb. frame, McGill is the type of big body the Cardinals need to compete in the NFC West.

His 4.44 "unofficial" 40 time at the combine makes him too damned fast for a player his size, and his ball skill with make a lethal combination with Peterson across from him and the Honey Badger roaming the middle.

Add to that his 39" vertical and he takes away the jump ball.

The Seachickens will no longer have the deadliest secondary in the NFL.

Good young secondary the Cards got going. Green Bay adds Terrence Brooks and we have a mini secondary run. Mitch, the Iggles are on the clock.

Honestly didn't even see the run going on.

Right after I made the Cards pick in the firts round, I locked in on McGill if he was there in the 2nd.

And I am sincerely hoping the Lions take a good long hard look at this guy come May.

I like the idea of Sammy Watkins and Keith McGill better than I do Justin Gilbert and Donte Moncrief.

Not sure we're going to have any choice in the matter, cause Watkins will likely be gone by #10, but I sure would be a happy fan.

Could you see a scenario where they take both Gilbert and McGill?

I would not exactly be opposed to that, but I think that is giving up on Slay way too early.

He struggled a lot his rookie year, but all CBs do. Patrick Peterson looked like dogshit his rookie year, and check that man out now.

I think doubling up on CBs is putting too much into the position for one draft.

THAT having been said... it would still make for a damned nice secondary.

There is no bigger Slay fan than me. Worst case one of those three mans the slot. IMO it's giving up on our other motley crew Bentley, Green, Greenwood, the mercurial Houston, if that ended up happening.

Btw Mitch you are on the clock with Philly.

so mitch wants the lions to take a safety. He picked the rams to take 2 safties. If he has philly going safety here im assuming hes some safety coordinator for a major company lol.
