I'm just pulling names out of a hat. Plus, you can never have to much in the secondary..and I'd be envious. HA Ha and Joyner, I'd take that and be thrilled.

True, with the way the passing game is set up it's all about the defensive backfield.

The Steelers select Cyrus Kouandjio OT from the University of Alabama. I know he has injury concerns and didn't look great at the combine, but Pitt is desperate for oline help and this kid has first round potential here in the 2nd.

I've seen him mocked in the fourth, but I don't think he gets out of the second either. Mitch you are back on the clock.

Sticking with my OT theme in rd 2, the Baltimore Ravens select Antonio Richardson from the Tennessee. Best available tackle kind of same concerns as the kid from Bama, but should be a solid RT and maybe future LT if healthy.

certainly does.

I don't think it does....I didn't expect them to pick a qb. HOU JAX CLE MIN still have a qb need. I think the fact bridgewater hasn't looked very good is more of a game changer. Id be surprised if 3 qbs get taken in the top 10 anymore. These guys have been overhyped as it is. Take my mock for Jax for example. You could grab manziel in the first.....ORRRR you can do what I did and have an opportunity to grab Watkins and Carr. Should be a no brainer if youre a smart GM. But JAX is dumb....so im sure they'll eff it up.

Rumor out of Houston is that this was a precursor move to them drafting Bortles to avoid any QB controversy.

oh for sure I think bortles was in the mix for the HOU pick along with Mack or Clowney. I thought they meant the OAK pick. I never really saw them going qb for some reason eventhough the need is there.

I still have this weird gut feeling HOU trades for a guy like Ryan Mallet. NE only has 5 picks in the draft this year and they are a team that lives via the draft...not FA. Add that to Bill obriens familiarity with Mallet....poof....qb situation resolved.

I had not thought of Mallet, but you are right, I can see that happening too. Houston didn't draft the flashy offensive name when Bush was the consensus #1 pick, they may not draft the flashy young QB now. Jadaveon Clowney makes a lot of sense for them.
