You missed the point. All OF use one hand these days. He might be a hatchet but it has nothing to do with one hand. AJ, Maggs, BB, Dirks and every OF in both leagues use one hand. Now you're just making up stuff to pile on him.

I don't care how he catches the ball as long as he does. And "there is no debate" really? Sometimes you bring up stupid stuff just to argue. We all know he's not a gold glover but if DY can't go he's it baby unless you want Dirks or Kelly tonight against a LHP.

bob im no fan of raburn either, but he's only below average in the OF whereas young is probably the worst defensive outfielder in baseball not named adam dunn. raburn in for young is an upgrade only because its hard to be worse than young is out there.


btw, young is off the ALCS roster, replaced by danny worth. he can still be on the WS roster if we get there and he is better since we didnt replace him mid-series for injury.
