Except, thanks to unelected state bureaucrats changing election laws in direct contravention to their state constitutions, the last election had way more votes against something that never would have counted in the prior election, or any election before that. But we're told it was the most fair and secure election of all time - because they say it was. And people are OK with it because orange man bad.

No kidding! Friggin' extra votes from people that took advantage of the flexibility. We want voting to be enough of a pain in the butt for more people to not vote for a reason!

Voting is a sacred trust that should take time, effort, preparation, and commitment. It should not be as easy as, for example, changing election state election laws without due diligence.
When the Electoral College is abolished, I think that then the General Election (as all elections) should mandate in-person voting on a paper ballot, with exceptions, to illustrate the responsibility that comes with voting. Where there are already established mail-in policies, revoke them. A ballot should, whenever possible, be completed in public in the company of peers and not in one's kitchen.
Make it a national holiday require in personal voting with ID with exceptions only for those truly disabled no mode of transportation or overseas out of state at the time etc. And it should be election day! not election month!
But has anyone demonstrated that if every one of those votes hadn?t counted this election the outcome would have been different?
If it?s the case, it shouldn?t be hard to demonstrate - the election boards should have a record of those votes that wouldn?t have been counted in the prior election or any election before that.

no one has been able to verify it because courts keep refusing to hear cases.
And I'm not sure it would be possible in many cases, let alone easy if they were since there are no signature matching requirements in a lot of the battleground states and where they are they're being rejected by partisan judges. And in places like PA, judges ruled that ballots don't need to be postmarked at all, among other changes that clearly make elections less secure.

and make counting the ballots fully transparent.
Did any lawyers ever present any evidence? Not to the press, to a judge.

...and make people pay a tax and own land their grandfathers owned and take a rigged civics test!
