Election Aftermath

I thought Gaetz would be in prison by now. Did Daddy buy his way out of the latest allegations like his DUIs before that? Loud-mouthed twat.

You think the reason we don't hear about this is because his daddy threw some money around? What do you think it would cost daddy to get the Dems to drop the case with their grip on the House slipping with each election? That's the more likely reason we haven't heard a word about the allegations in weeks. It's definitely more likely than this just being another political hit job where the Dems know they don't need the truth, the allegation will suffice. It doesn't even matter that they would have had to work hard to find a less credible source for the allegation. The people who just spent 3 years and 10s of millions of dollars chasing down the Russian conspiracy nonsense lose the Gaetz case because he has a rich daddy? That's a good one.

So?are we now finding out it was the FBI and Antifa who stormed the Capitol on 1/6, posing as Trump supporters?

And if so, where were them two black guys who jacked up Jussie Smollett that cold Chicago night when he was walking back from Subway (the sandwich shop, not the public trains - they don?t even call that the subway in Chicago - it?s called the ?L? - and is that anything like ?Q??)?

And were them two black guys the same phonies who pretended to be Mlli Vanilli back in the late 80s?

The FBI is well-known for infiltration of subversive organizations, so, it?s not a stretch. *searches COINTELPRO*

From the FBI vault.

COINTELPRO

The FBI began COINTELPRO?short for Counterintelligence Program?in 1956 to disrupt the activities of the Communist Party of the United States. In the 1960s, it was expanded to include a number of other domestic groups, such as the Ku Klux Klan, the Socialist Workers Party, and the Black Panther Party. All COINTELPRO operations were ended in 1971. Although limited in scope (about two-tenths of one percent of the FBI?s workload over a 15-year period), COINTELPRO was later rightfully criticized by Congress and the American people for abridging first amendment rights and for other reasons.

So, wait never mind ? the FBI says it doesn?t do that anymore.

No, I was being facetious. I think the real reason is that investigations take time (I think that was your mantra earlier in this thread too, maybe someone else). If Gaetz was even PROBABLY innocent, I think more Republicans would have supported him when word of the investigation first surfaced. That didn't happen. I don't expect he'll actually see prison time, more likely he loses or doesn't run for his next election and becomes a talking head on Fox News at best, Infowars at worst.

But I do appreciate that you at least didn't attempt to dispute his weaseling out of the DUIs. Very bipartisan of you.

never heard anything about the DUIs and don't care about them either. Seems like child's play compared to what other members have gotten away with (years of insider trading by the Speaker and dozens of members, Waters using influence to enrich her husband's bank, Sanders strongarming banks to make bad loans to his wife's employer are just a few that come to mind). I can't get too upset over a dad helping his son with a DUI nor does that make me think since Gaetz got behind the wheel buzzed, he is probably guilty of sexual misconduct.

If there was meat to this investigation, we'd hear about it every day. As it stands, all they have is the testimony of a guy who has agreed to testify against Gaetz as part of a plea deal. One of the crimes Greenberg is pleading guilty to is making false allegations of sexual misconduct against another person. You can't make this shit up - they're so desperate to get Gaetz they're going to rely on the accusation of a guy who pled guilty to falsely making that exact kind of accusation against someone else. And low information dopes are going to look at this guy and believe him or just disregard this simple fact just because they hate Matt Gaetz.

It's called the "L" because it's elevated - it would be weird (and inaccurate) to call it the subway, except for the portion of the red line that does go underground for a stretch on the south side.

we've known for awhile that ANTIFA was there - this is the first i'm hearing about the FBI orchestrating it. First we heard it was Trump's speech on the Mall and people on Parler, even thought the FBI said it was mostly organized by others on FB and Twitter or something like that. But can we really trust the FBI? Doesn't that seem like exactly what they would say if they were the ones behind it all? It's like they're playing 3d chess, just like Trump. Better go make some popcorn.

Edit: DSF is on the darkweb so the FBI can't trace any of this back to us, right?

That?s funny.

How did this get past the woke filter at WaPo?

can't get past the headline but my guess is the first word in huge letters "Opinion." Could be that this movement will eventually devour their own and implode, but I think it's still too soon for that to take down someone like Omar - bit players like Chrissy Tiegan, sure but Omar's still untouchable.

tigermud doesn't strike me as the kind of person that would ever post somewhere the FBI could track him. I think we're safe.

This forum is google searchable, or at least it used to be. It says 'Not Secure' at the top of my browser.

Everything is tracked, there is no such dark web. The first step to enlightenment Spartan is to understand that if you support trump in any way shape or form your already on the list.

As you should be. Some day they will come for them and I won't say anything because I'm not on that list. After they come for them, I'm sure they will be satisfied and stop going after certain groups.

Almost three years ago now I started that thread and got ya all riled up. Look how far down that path we?ve come since then. Pop another blue pill blue everything will be just fine

I thought it should have been the blue pill.

It?s not the Forbes billionaires list but at least I?m on a list. I feel like Navin R Johnson when he learned he was in the phone book.

Dwight has the right idea. Go Blue!

I mean, probabilistically, red pill is only going to get you through one layer of simulation anyway, but that's probably a simulation running in a simulation too...it's simulations all the way down. Like turtles.
