I'll have to disagree...i thought he was used horribly. 1st 2 years were chalked up to some learning curve crap so he was seldomly used. Then he spent 2 years running 2 yard speed outs. A stretch the field match up problem running 2 yard routes. Stafford and jbc created this offense... and this is more proof they are both morons.
You're blaming Stafford for Ebron's inefficiency as a Lion?! lol. Dude, who did he rape in your family?? For real!!!!
This isn't Stafford's offense either. He didn't help "create" it. This is Cooter's offense. Sure, an offense that Stafford has flourished under but it's not his. Where the fuck do you come up with this shit, man???
I always thought Ebron was a good TE and I do agree that he wasn't used properly in this offense but there was a lot of mouths to feed in Detroit while Ebron was here. Tate, M.Jones, Riddick was catching a lot of balls and a rookie named Golladay last yr that looked like he was going to be something special. What's in Indy besides Hilton??? NOBODY. That's who. Ebron has showed up as a solid #2 option in that offense and has even succeeded as a #1 when Hilton has been shelved. No surprise he's playing good as a Colt.
Saying all that, I still wanted Ebron to remain a Lion. He probably wouldn't be putting up the numbers here that he's putting up in Indy but he'd be opening up that offense more than it is right now. Detroit is missing that special TE. That's pretty much the only piece missing in that offense. Probably another RG to replace Lang too. Offense is close to being set...
