Fairley

Suh is the best 3 tech in the game bar none. Fairley has really stepped up and is getting better every week. He has played well against the run been chasing down plays from behind and a disruptive force in the pass game. Our defense sucks for many reasons but the dt's are not one of them. The dline as a whole unit has played better the last four weeks since avril reached a healthier playing level.

Yeah hughes... Add only brilliant observations and suggestions like fairleys been playing well and they should trade suh.

my bad diggler lol....i shoulda known that 3 decent games in 2 years means youre well on your way to the HOF and you should trade your All Pro DTs. :D

You can't say someone has been playing well?? Why?

And....IMO...they ABSOLUTELY should look into trading Suh. Not because of talent, but because of their cap situation and the fact they could get a pretty good haul in return....trading Suh and keeping the MUCH cheaper Fairley and SLH and adding the additional picks would do this team a WORLD of good.

Name ONE other player the Lions could REALISTICALLY trade that would bring the return that Suh would?

They aren't moving Staff or CJ....we all know that.

...

Bwahahaha! :lmao:

They dont need to trade anyone....they need to get rid of all the dead cap space that doesnt produce. Cwill, kvb, burleson...and avril produces some but not 11 mil worth. Thats over 20 mil in cap space.

Why Suh, why not trade Staff or CJ, you know because of the cap LOL. You don't trade guys like that.

should have traded staff for Luck prior to the draft last . would have saved like 50 mil.

Like that would have happened. Even before the draft Luck was already considered elite. And cheap.

Studs like Staff, CJ and Suh never get traded because of cap problems. Always work around. Always restructuring.

when did i base it solely on sacks? hes has 3 fucking good games in 2 years. 3....whoopidy doo. he has 4.5 sacks when Suh gets all the doubles. ALL OF THEM. when youre facing singles an entire year and you still have less sacks than Suh....youre not doing all that good. Baldinger is a bufoon....ya...hes so distruptive a rookie qb put 30+ points on your defense. wow....our d is awesome.

Baldinger is a buffoon? Sure he is. He played the game, buddy. He knows a thing or 2 about football.

And once again you look like an idiot. Nobody said our D was "awesome". We're talking about Fairley. Clue in. The kid has played veery well this year andf has played excellent for the last 4-6 games.

And another thing. You say you're not judging Fairley solely on sacks but you rip the kid for not having more sacks. Which is it? Read your shit before you hit the "send" button, buddy..lol.

Ok, what do you think they would get for Suh?

For the record, i hate the idea of trading him. Just asking a serious question...i'm curious on what people think because you better get the fn world for him.

I'd say mid to upper 1st, 2nd and 4th.

Listen, my thought isn't that they need to trade Suh.....or that i WANT the Lions to trade him.....but IMO....he is the piece of this puzzle you could stand to lose, get a huge return, and help this team in a lot of ways.

I kind of like keeping players that are good, ie, Suh. Lets build on him. The only issue will be his second contract demands and our cap situation

But that depends on what you get, getting picks is all fun for lions fans since it is our superbowl but if those players don't pan out then you traded him for nothing.

Upper 1st better be a top 5. And in all honestly, Suh should get a top 5, another 1st and a 2nd.
