He was too busy filling depth and backups and forgot about finding more starters. Now all the depth guys are starting and looking like a bunch of backups because they are.

Get StartedThe thing about the injuries is game 2, if we're ahead and cruising (with our injuries) why did they suddenly give it up? Defense played fine, with people hurt, for 3+ quarters.. Same for GB game.. I say we made the game closer because GB coasted but you insisted that wasn't true, how did the injuries effect the first half but not the second?
Abdullah and Williams and van noy all got hurt during that game. Then the wheels fell off with armbrister and cope land at lb
What about the back seven on defense? That's the worst part of our team. Only major injury is levy.

Depth players are backups lol. Quinn did a nice job of filling those role players in. This team is falling apart with injuries. Can't blame Quinn on that.
The only knock i have on Quinn so far is i thought they should have went Safety or LB earlier in the draft. Or even target one of those positions through FA. He waited and took Killebrew and Williams late in the draft. Then he brought in a bunch of question marks to "try" and fill those weak spots. It's good to know that he realizes how bad our Safety and LB positions are, but i just wish they would have shelled out some dough or picked one of those positions a little higher in the draft. Other than that?? Great job so far...
I think we can pretty much all assume at this point that the decision to keep Caldwell did not come from Quinn.
I would sure hope that's the case.
Great job so far? The team is 1-3 and his first major decision, bringing back Caldwell, he flunked horribly. Top to bottom, the team is lacking talent.
He needs time before you can make any sort of decision on how he's doing as a GM.
Lions have more penalty yards than rushing yards so far...that's encouraging.
#9's fault.
Duh. Honestly, I'd skip town when this contract is up if I were him.
Extend stafford. Its happening
