I know there is plenty enough blame to go around why we ain't winning, but somewhere it has to stem from the leadership on down.

Wondered how long it would take you to start that again.

Sorry, but this is the team that DD put on the field. You can not manage fundamental breakdowns. If the team does not hit, it will not win and that is the house that DD built. There defense is awful and they knew it was going to be. Tell me, how do you manage that? DD has been notorious for making the greatest "DH type" teams over the years, this year is no different. Young, Raburn, Fielder, Miggy, VMart (when he comes back in Sept) and even JP and Boesch are treading on that line. He also over values his pitchers and that is also biting him in the ass right now.

I feel bad for JL and his staff. Belliard is not going to make these guys above average defenders, this is a learned early and developed. He is not going to make Fielder taller or jump any higher, or eat less McDonalds. He is not going to make Miggy or JP have better range. He will never do anything with Raburn, that guy is a joke.

In my opinion, this team has never been built right. We have this cavernous ballpark and always have slow corner OF's, big mistake.

However, if this team mashes and makes the playoff's, anything could happen. This is how the team is built.
