No, he just needs to be the 4th quarter and overtime coordinator. Find someone else for the first 3 quarters.

They do that don't they? No. Then gets someone who likes throwing to Calvin before the 4th quarter.

6 games in and still no adjustments. horrible. Have you had enough yet?

Well it worked for the Tigers. A fire Leyland thread and WS bound. Maybe we'll get to the SB now.

This is for the offensive coach not the head coach the equivalent Tiger thread would be Lloyd not Leyland goofy..lol

2-4 and another good Defense team coming to town = 2-5 on deck.. ain't going to happen this year with this offense Mitch.., maybe next year.

SB bound, yes. And we have tigermud to thank for it. Thanks tigermud.

Anyone that didnt see the 10 win team was an absolute fluke does lines of kool aid. Atleast high round picks arent expensive anymore. This team will go nowhere with this offense. How you cant get a single wr wide open when there's 3 guys blanketing calvin on every play and safties are 20 yards down field absolutely blows my frikken mind. You srsly have to be stupid to not be able to gameplan around a defense like that.

Week in and out we see the exact same defense. Linehan hasn't adjusted to it. I'm starting to think he just can't. There's too much talent on this offense to be this inept. There are never any new plays. It's the same plays every week. Other teams watch film.. They can pick up on what you're doing. He needs to go. Shoulda been gone at the bye week.

It wasn't a fluke or otherwise the Saints season was a fluke. We've played bad but we were a legit 10 win team last season. ST still lost us two games even with the ineptness of the offense we should have 4 wins. .

After their 5-0 start the finished the season 5-7 (including the playoff loss). In that 5-7 run they didn't beat a single team that ended up above .500. Maybe they got figured out last year?

I've been watching the Lions since the 70s, and the 2012 team is by far the most frustrating I have ever watched. The 0-16 team wasn't frustrating, they were a joke. This team has zero reason to be this bad. Between Stafford flat out missing to WRs dropping the ball to RBs fumbling in the Red Zone to the STs being so inept, damn infuriating to watch and feeling completely perplexed as to how an offense that put up team records last year for awesomeness can somehow this year turn into an offense that will be putting up records for suckiness.

Defenses now know the rest of the Lions offense is prone to making mistakes, so keeping CJ locked down further magnifies that. Sure you have to give credit to opposing defenses, but have any of them truly locked down the Lions? or have the Lions just self-imploded at pretty much any opportunity?

No turnovers or drops and the Lions probably win last night. Can't hold onto the ball in the red zone...and Pettigrew can't hold onto to the ball at all. They aren't going to win very often with mistakes like these, they simply don't have the defense to make that happen.

It's incredibly frustrating when the special teams isn't awful and the Lions still lose.

between CJ dropping passes and Staff throwing wild, it kinda felt like they are intimidated in that stadium. that could be from Staff getting crushed by Peppers there, by CJ's non-TD-catch...who knows, just seems like they were playing scared at times.

Exactly the Bears defense from mid 2nd Quarter on didn't do crap. The 3 fumbles were about as unforced as you can get. And the Calvin drop was huge. Those are not on Linehan. 4 trips to the redzone should beat the Bears when you hold them to 13.

Other than the first drive and a few plays near the bears goalline, the defense played well starting Green and Alphonso Smith.

I didn't stay up for the end of the game. What happened on the Stafford INT?

4th and goal, Backus missed a cut block on Peppers, Stafford scrambled right and had to force it with pressure with nobody open on the sidelines and DJ Moore picked it off.

So many missed opportunities in this game.

2011 MNF vs 2012 MNF
Bears score 13 in both games
Calvin catches big TD. 2012 Calvin drops it on first drive
Best big run on a good hole, Leshoure has some good holes but doens't have the extra gears and fumbles
Lions have 2 redzone trips and get 10 points in 2011, Lions have 4 redzone trips and get 7 points(really late)

Well if youre allowed to say we should have 4 wins this year than im allowed to say we should have been a 7-9 team last year. We got lucky atleast 3 times last year. We'll be lucky to win 6 games this year with the remaining schedule.

at Minnesota and Green Bay will be key. If they can't beat both Seattle at home or Jacksonville the next 2 weeks then yes they deserve to be a 5-6 win team.
