**Fire Linehan**

Well if youre allowed to say we should have 4 wins this year than im allowed to say we should have been a 7-9 team last year. We got lucky atleast 3 times last year. We'll be lucky to win 6 games this year with the remaining schedule.

And I'd say we got pretty unlucky this year at times too. Secondary injuries galore still (we started our 5th and 6th string CBs last night once Delmas finally came back and Spievey got another concussion), special teams fiascos 4 returns(which is some bad skill but some just bad luck), running into kicker 49er game, Staffords pick slipping out of his hands against 49ers, the 3 fumbles against the Bears, Calvins drop on the first drive which he caught last year for a TD on MNF against the Bears.

None of those were teams just imposing their wills. It's the Lions messing up and they can be fixed but those types of mess ups lose games for you in the NFL where the talent is closer. Special teams we have seen the fix the last 2 games. We'll see if we can fumble less and finish drives in these next 4 games. If we can't then, we're done.

Lions will beat Seattle and Jacksonville ..Even though Seattle has a good defense their rookie QB is going to struggle next week..I think we lay the pain stick on Wilson next week. At least I hope we do. :)

Linehan is worthless when it comes to in game adjustments until it is to late.. Stafford has really regressed this year.. He seems not to be able to adjust a play at the line of scrimmage and he was out of freaking gas at the end of-the game last night... Damn get in shape pudgy.

They'll lose to Seattle in a close one.

He definitely doesn't look sharp but he was out of gas because he was running for his life towards the end. The line was being manhandled when it mattered most.

they need stafford to call his own plays like Peyton Manning. they wasted way too much time at the end of the game alone waiting for the play to come in from sideline.

Ive thought the same thing at times. But if he was ready, I think he be doing that. I would definitely like to see that some day, not sure if Stafford is that guy though. Honestly still wondering who the leader of this team is.

i think he is second guessing the calls that are coming in and that is causing him to not be as sharp and there is a lack of confidence in allowing him to change the plays at the line for some reason. QBs making that kind of money who have shown what he did last year need to have faith of OC to call plays himself. let him run with it and see what happens. i'd rather than than seeing time tick off the clock in 2 minute type situation while he spends 10 seconds trying to get call from OC.

if you don't have that kind of faith in the QB, you shouldn't be paying him that kind of money.

i think no one is good at getting open. Which is sad with the defensive schemes we play against that are so focused on calvin. Hopefully Broyles can be that slot reciever that can sit in a pocket that this offense has desperately needed since im sick of seeing pettigrew being the only guy doing it.

I agree Burleson, Young, Pettigrew and Scheffler get alot of the blame. I'm never noticing them being wide open and Stafford just missing them. Scheffler a few times but that is about it. And Calvin getting owned by Tillman sucks and cant' happen Week 17.

it shows alot of views and missed opportunities by the lions..idk if calvin got owned in that game...his drop would have been a HUGE play..and he had another route like it if i remember right in the second half..where he was just as wide open..in the middle of the field..and stafford missed him...its scary how close the lions really were to breaking big plays when looking at that link....

There was about 5 times on Monday where Staff was looking to the sidelines, shaking his head with his arms out to the sides...like "Hey, I'm waiting for a play here..."

Even on their drive where he threw the pick on 4th and goal, their tempo stunk...leading me to believe Linehan wasn't getting plays to him in a timely manner.

Completely inexcusable against a divisional opponent on national TV. The guy is a bum and needs to GO....

Who's going to call plays if Linehan goes. Jefferson, Yarno, Gash. I don't think so. Give it the rest of the season. There were plays there, just not executed. 4 good drives on the Bears is what we had last Monday night football against them too. Only the Lions finished thanks to 2 big plays and a good play down the seam to Pettigrew
