Former Vice President Joe Biden, currently the presumptive 2020 Democrat presidential nominee, was one of several high level Obama administration officials who requested the “unmasking” of Gen. Michael Flynn, according to a letter from acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell.

The document, released Wednesday by GOP Sens. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) and Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), showed a list of names of Obama-era intelligence officials who were involved in the unmasking of Gen. Flynn’s name in intelligence reports.

“I declassified the enclosed document, which I am providing to you for your situational awareness,” Grenell wrote in his letter to the senators.

In Joe's defense he probably honestly doesn't remember if he did or not

I'm not even convinced Joe will be the nominee. He wouldn't survive a real debate with Trump, irrespective of the obamagate issues he is apparently now facing....there has been more than a little stirring in democrat circles that they want to cut bait on him.

Just the other day he was saying he can’t wait to get on a debate stage with Trump. I hope we’re not going to be deprived of that spectacle.

Me either.

One guy who can't remember what he was going to say half the time, and the other who will just make shit up on the spot, then later deny he ever said it.

Hey, I'm one of the few on this politics board that will flat out admit I was wrong. If she's the nominee, I'll eat that crow extra crispy. But until that day happens, I'll continue to say you're paranoid and that it would be healthy to let your obsession over her end.

You accuse people of 'Trump derangement syndrome' but in the same breath will continue to post tirades and conspiracy theories about a woman who holds no political office, suffered one of the most embarrassing political defeats in American history, and would be an extremely minor footnote in history if you and many others like you would just let her name fade into the wind.

I can't stand that woman. The only time I ever have to remember she exists is when you talk about her. How ironic.

One of the most?

Her first monumentally unexpected loss was like, actually to a black dude.

How often does that shit happen?

She lost to a black guy and Donald Trump. For bonus points she needed heavy DNC intervention to beat a far left socialist. I'd have a hard time finding a better candidate for the worst presidential candidate of all time.

Probably there?s none, but if you?re looking one has to consider Biden and back in the not too distant past, Hubert Humphrey.

While neither of these two would likely be considered anywhere near as personally detestable as HRC, they both had a number of failed bites at the apple.

This is Biden?s third shot, we?ll see if he limps over the finish line this time.

Humphrey came up short in 1952 and in 1960. As seated vice president, he sort of backed into the 68 nomination at the turbulent legendary Democratic convention in Chicago, after Bobby Kennedy was assassinated. Lost to Nixon, of course.

Humphrey lost to Nixon in 1968. And "came up short" as the Democratic candidate in 1972.

I found a record of the three bids for the nomination you quoted me as listing.

Don?t know nothin? ?bout 1972; don?t find any record at all; including the record of my own memory. I thought Humphrey endorsed his running mate of four years earlier, Ed Muskie.

You?re almost never wrong on things of this nature.

it would be impossible, considering she most recently lost to a guy who most would have ranked the worst if not 2nd worst candidate ever behind Dukakis.
