Get StartedMichChamp02 said:certain complainers who post here might not be happy with this. in the chat room saturday, all I kept hearing about was how Toussaint goes down as soon as a defender so much as breathes on him....
Hungry said:Oh I like Toussaint. He's name is a little long and we need a nickname for him, but I do like him and think he can be a great back IF he can stay healthy...(looking at you, Brandon Minor.)
I'm just more grumbling about how it took 8 games to find 1 back when we heard all spring and summer that they want to settle on one back. This reminds me of days of yore when it'd be midseason and we'd still be having position battles.
That and I just like to grumble every now and then about something.

I'm guessing the two topics in this post are intertwined.

There were several times this year when I thought he could/should have broken a run but was brought down on what I considered a "weak" or "cheap" tackle. I know VSmith is "pound for pound" whatever they say, but to me it's clear he's the stronger of the two runners, but is hampered by his size. Fitz has the size, and I wish he ran more like Smith; he'd be a much more dangerous back.
Keep in mind too that he's only a RS sophomore who's still growing and getting stronger. But at this stage, I think it's ok to expect him to do more.

Me grumbling and how the coaches named a starter? Or 2 other topics?

Now if they could only settle on a qb...
