sounds great....someone kidnap staffords gf and hold her hostage til he restructures so we can afford it.

Or just restructure Calvin/Tulloch and cut Thomas/Robiskie and Johnson. That will work too

Gotta love the names on the O if they do sign RB...

Bush
Johnson
Staff
'Grew

Has the makings of a Big O written all over it. :p

49ers get boldin for a 6th. we get Thomas for a 4th and he proceeds to catch 5 passes for us in 9 games....then we release him?

that would be a perfect example of why we suck as an organization.

Apples/Oranges -- Balt would have cut Boldin, while Thomas was in-season (although I would agree a 4th was a steep price).

Had the Lions by the balls after all the WR issues. On that one I cannot say there was much of a choice other than getting a guy off the street, which might have been a better choice in retrospect but at the time I cannot blame them for the choice they made there, steep as it was.

Besides, I can just hear Mayhew thinking to himself, "my R4 picks never pan out well anyway, so not much difference in how that all played out".

I'm convinced.....you aren't even a Lions fan....which makes you a troll.

Go away troll....your schtick is tired. We all get it.....you like to bash every move. Blah blah blah......anything new to add or are you just gonna repeat yourself again and again?

Bush rumor mill also has Arizona as players...Arizona just cut two RBs, Beanie Wells being one of them.

I think Bush is a Card. When the 6 mil per contract comes out, Mayhew is a winner in my eyes. Alternatively Bush signs on the cheap with AZ by choice and drives another nail into 'name' FAs ever coming to Detroit (which is a push since we dont have the cash to sign them anyways). Beanie being dropped and the Blount inquiry are context clues.

1165 total posts. 5 have been about the lions. the other 1160 have been about me. whos the troll? did you disagree with anything I said? or youre in favor of trading away a 4th round pick for a guy that catches 5 passes. either way youre retarded.

if you trade a 4th round pick and you release the guy before he even knows the offense then youre the dumbest fucking gm in the league. I don't care what a guy named booger says.

I'm not sure Tulloch would restructure so soon after he got a LT contract and he shouldn't.

LKP's cut Thomas cap saver is basically wiping your ass with a fourth.

we did get a guy off the street. durham. who played over Thomas every week.

Umm, it’s a 5th round pick in 2014, so basically we would be cutting a guy before we even paid the cost to acquire his rights. Sounds about right to cut him and then draft another guy to cut later.
