Western Michigan beat Denver 3-2 in two overtime win one semifinal.

Boston U. Beat Penn state 3-1 on other semifinal.

That team is really good. I don’t think they’re done being good either.

They absolutely dominated Denver for two periods. Then Denver scored 2 period goals and Western Michigan scored the winner in double overtime.

And when you win 6-2 there really isn’t much of a story other than you controlled the play.
 
My brother was telling me the Frozen Four has been in St. Louis 3 times and all 3 times a Michigan team won.

Western Michigan - 2025

I know that it's a big deal for WMU fans and for the program, and hats off to them, but I'll also say that it's about time. Only Ferris State lacks a title now of the Michigan programs eligible to compete for one.

Northern Michigan won in 1991 and Lake Superior State won in 1994 in Saint Paul, MN. So the Saints are good to Michigan college hockey programs.
