Fun poll taken by NFL players

From what I have heard from LKP, I thought for sure Slay would be in the top 3 DBs!

Well at least the Lions weren't picked for "The only way I'd play for _____ is if they doubled my salary"

And how dare the players pick the Broncos to win it all, they clearly haven't watched enough game tape.

The news people might say Stafford is a fine QB but it's obvious the players think he's a piece of shit..

This is a terrible "survey", and definately not indicative of what the majority of the NFL thinks.

They only interviewed 82 players, that is not even a full team roster of players. If you look at the bottom of the page, not every player even answers every question, and specifically the Stafford question, they were given 9 quarterbacks to put in either category. A better way to do it would be to ask, "What QBs are worth more than they are paid and which QBs are overpaid?"

Full team is 53. 82 players is 5% of the league.

To me the top 3. QBs look accurate. Who are your starting top 3 QBs not worth the money?

Rosters are currently 90. Going by 2014 cap hit:
Sam Bradford: 17.6 mill
Big Ben: 18.895 mill
Eli: 20.4 mill

you do understand that in a survey they only ask a small sample size...not everyone. Survey Says!! (Family Feud voice)....OVER RATED!!!!

I knew some people would get their panties in a twist which is why the very first word in the subject is "Fun". Clearly that wasn't enough.

Also, nobody ever said it was a survey but you. If this was a more widespread and more "official"(?) questionnaire, then it would be a survey. But it's not, it's a poll. There was no deception by myself or the people that conducted the poll.

definately not indicative of what the majority of the NFL thinks.

How would you or any of us know that? Just because it's not your opinion doesn't mean it's not the popular one.

When they poll for presidential candidates they don't poll the whole country, and they say pick this guy or that guy. I know it's not perfect but to have any player say Stafford basically sucks..it's not good.

In all fairness, when you ask the question of which QBs don't deserve to make 15M a year, and then you leave one of the QBs who makes that much money off the list to boot (Bradford), you are really rigging the question.

Of the 9 QB's they allowed players to choose from, only 4 haven't won a SuperBowl yet, Cutler, Stafford, Ryan, and Rivers. It was almost a certainty that from a player perspective in a small sample size, those four guys would top the list based on that alone.

How Eli made the top 4 and Rivers didn't I can't even figure out.

22 guys (at most), out of 82 picked our QB from a stacked deck. Sure it's just for fun, but when the question is rigged, the answer isn't even a fun one.

Stafford has two more years to prove people wrong on that.

because Rivers is a much better QB than Eli

Where in the hell did it say Stafford "basically sucks"? That wasn't the question. This is what you do.....take facts....skew them....spit out something nobody said....then pretend your made up crap is true.

Lol.....you and Hughes must type with one hand and jerk each other off with the other. Which one of you is the lefty?

Based on his last two years and the "fun" pole.

One thing you don't seem to grasp..people have different opinions. I think he sucks and you think he's good. Why is your opinion matter more than mine? Game tape? The tape I watch says he sucks..deal with it.

Your opinion is fine......but it means NOTHING to my question. Where in the "fun" pole did it say "players say he basically sucks".

It was a question about being overpaid......not who is the worst.

Deal with it.

90% of the players don't understand his contract.

Big signing bonus. Spread over 5 years really not 3. And base salary for 3 year extension but some of the base is before the extension in 2013 and 2014. The last 2 years of extension are fluff and can be re-done easily.
