90% of the players don't understand his contract.

Big signing bonus. Spread over 5 years really not 3. And base salary for 3 year extension but some of the base is before the extension in 2013 and 2014. The last 2 years of extension are fluff and can be re-done easily.

And the other players don't know everything Stafford has done. They don't know his turnover support, his weapon injuries and his run game. Stafford carries this team. Worth every penny and he's on a very good deal.

It was a question about being overpaid......not who is the worst.

I do. Because I understand his contract. And I see his produciton. And I know what all he had to do deal with. ESPN should pole me. And me alone.

Basically, the old rookie scale was the equivalent of graduating engineering school and becoming the highest paid engineer on the planet, before your first day of work!
