Game 1: Giants @ Lions *Monday Night Football* Thread

How do you know it's going to be a shoot out..? People will watch because its football..but this is not a must watch.

You know what the general public wants? How do you know it's not a must watch? Bet the tv ratings say something totally different

It's MNF..I suspect it gets normal MNF ratings..

Boy, this game needs to start soon...arguing about the quality of MNF and kickoff times hours before the first game.

Better than arguing with LKP all off season. At least this is a real conversation!

Whether it's the Lions collapsing or in shootouts, the Lions always make for an interesting game. That's all I'm saying. You saying they're not worthy just makes you a shitty fan, nothing else

How many "true" INT's will Eli throw tonight?

0, 3 ints coming from tipped balls throwing into double coverage, and 1 receiver running the wrong route.

Almost game time. Time to put up or shut up for Detroit. It better be a rout win at home.

Worried about JPP and Cruz and their secondary. That's about it

Broyles is out? Wtf? Didn't know he was hurt again. Only 4 WRs dressed? This is Fuller's chance.

I never heard anything about Broyles, if he's actually hurt again, cut him.

Broyles isn't hurt. Just inactive for this game.

Went with Ross (returns too) and Fuller (can play outside).

I don't think hes hurt again. That said, can't wait to see Fuller in action. Broyles might be s.o.l. if Fuller plays well

That could be an ongoing theme though. Ryan Broyles is officially a depth player, not starter quality.
