Game 1: Jets @ Lions *Monday Night* Thread

There is no guarantee that BQ/MP would hire an OC who is noticeably, much less significantly better than JBC. Especially early/midway into the football season. They might have already written off this season, hence their squawking about the Lions' fanbase needing to have more "patience"....this after firing Caldwell, b/c the '18 Lions were supposedly going to be ready to take the next step up towards divisional-playoff success...but only with a new HC.

As far as MP stating that Thanksgiving is the real start of their season, and the previous games having less importance, the Lions will have played all but 2 of their games vs likely contending division rivals, and have only 6 games left to play in the season. Being 5-5 or 4-6 might not/will not be enough to catch the Vikings and/or Packers who could have 8-2 or 7-3 season records by then.

That may have worked for his defense on the Pats in the long overall weaker AFCE, but not so much in the NFCN, when his new team isn't named the Packers.

good lord Patrica is horrible. Can Martha just speed up this new cycle of Lions garbage and fire em all again and start over now rather than waiting 3 years. I am convinced he has already lost the players. Should have just kept Caldwell.

Wtf happened after the Lions drove right down the field after halftime to tie it 17-17.
That drive was 4 plays . Lions come out in no huddle offense.
False start.
26 yard pass to Tate.
4 yards to Tate.
26 yards to Golladay
24 yard td to Tate

Then we were down 24-17 and the next series we run for no gain with Johnson. Then gain 9 yards with Johnson. Then on friggin third and 1 dumbass jbc calls a pass play. Sometimes I feel have has no feel how a game is going during the game.

How can it look so good one drive and terrible after that . Oh they have our signals Jbc :/
