Game 1 - Lions @ Bucs Thread

I think that Schwartz needed to go for the kill when we had them on the ropes. He played it very conservatively, we could have scored 40 this game if he would have kept letting Stafford air it out.

Ugh. They're going to play like they can tie up the game, while we might resort to running the ball for the first two downs AGAIN. I don't like it.

Danny Diggler[/color]]I take back the credit I gave to Berry... He never thought about looking for the ball. That was awful.

There was absolutely nothing he was going to be able to do on that play. Sometimes you have to give the other guys the credit.

He never even turned his head... Locating the ball is a big part of why they get paid to play corner in the NFL. Obviously it was a great catch but damn...

Agreed.

Airing it out exposes Staff to the risk of a big hit too. No sense in it if you trust your D, which Schwartz should.

I'm hoping staffs cramps was the reason they got so conservative

I get what you're saying, but he's too short to make that play.

I LOVE YOU CALVIN!!!

+1 bingo careful though these guys will all accuse you of whining. Never should be in this position here of them have a shot at the on side. Killer instinct JS and SL

Problem was he had to be cautious cause Stafford couldnt take drops with his cramps. We went to a run game which killed clock in the 3rd/4th but wasnt our normal explosive offense.
