Why are you idiots comparing Stafford to Brees anyways? There's your fucking problem right there lol.

Some of it is how they use him, but I agree that a lot of it is the QB play. Ebron had 11 TDs in 4 years with the Lions and 11 TDs in 11 games with Luck as the QB.

Luck >>>>> Matt

totally agree...im just pointing out to the critics that said Ebron was only productive because the rest of their weapons were injured. Hes been even more productive now that they are back which was my point exactly....things technically should open up even more for him now and Luck is a QB that can exploit that...Matt wasnt.

So you're calling Ebron a stud then, right? Lol

He runs...then catches a ball. Same as every other TE and WR in this league. Reich is better than JBC and Luck is better than Stafford. Therefor he is in a much better situation and is performing better. Does that ever mean he should be a top 10 pick....fuck no lol.

Did we once again not plan properly and let go of a TE before we had any resemblance of a plan B...fuck yes. No matter who are GM is they continue to miss simple things like this. It happened that draft with mayhew....you had to know you were losing Suh....you had a chance to draft Donald. Then your defense suffers for years cause of your idiotic decision. You go back to Delmas being injured and knowing you werent going to have him...so we have to listen to Mayhew say "errrr....we were thinner than we thought at that position" after getting torched half the year.

Bob Quin has been very hit n miss early in his tenure here...i like some of his drafts. But how the fuck do you do your homework on a guy like Wilson and think...oh....sign him and were good at TE. Done deal. What the fuck?..what is wrong with you?

Suh fucked this team back then. Donald isn't here because Suh told them he was coming back. He obviously never did.
I also think Quinn thought Gronkowski was going to be a Lion. Word was that he was 100% traded to Detroit but Gronk threatened retirement if he was traded. Quinn panicked IMO. Who knows bro!!! Lol. This team is run like a circus. I do like what Quinn has done in the draft. It's free agency where he needs to step up his game...

The Detroit Lions where players threaten to retire if they're traded here.. Since 1930.

The Lions may have dodged a bullet when Gronk told them he would rather retire than play for the Lions. When he is on the field, he is a monster. But he is always hurt. Also, would the Lions even know how to use him? Look at Ebron in Indy ;)

In hindsight...they were lucky that Suh went elsewhere as well.

Pride Of Detroit Lions Blog PODcast recaps Lions-Bears, discusses Matthew Stafford?s future in Detroit. 82 minutes.
The PODcast tackles another disappointing loss and looks to the future.

The PODcast crew is back from their mini Thanksgiving hiatus. The gang spent the holidays stuffing their face with Thanksgiving pizza and homemade pie, waiting waaaay too long in Black Friday lines, and testing the limits of their old bodies in a game of two-hand touch.

But the holiday is behind us and now it?s time to face the cold reality. The Detroit Lions got swept by the Chicago Bears, and suddenly Lions fans are trying to serve Matthew Stafford?s head on platter.

The Lions put up a good fight on Thanksgiving, but a couple of big errors from their quarterback?and tight end?sunk the team to a point they likely won?t recover from this season.

So where to we go from here? That?s what the crew discusses on this week?s episodes:
This week on the PODcast:
Was this the Lions? best game since the road game against the Miami Dolphins?

LeGarrette Blount certainly shut us the hell up. But is he capable of another performance like that or was that one last flash in the pan?

Was Jim Bob Cooter?s offensive game plan too conservative, or was that the reason the Lions had a legitimate chance to win the game?

Will this defense be able to stop a single quarterback this year?

Alright, let?s just talk about it. Matthew Stafford cost Detroit this game.
What does this mean for his future with the Lions. Are people seriously thinking about trading him?

The gang talks about the final five games of the season.
Should Kerryon Johnson come back?
When are we going to see more Tracy Walker?

Mailbag talks about dream broadcasting crews, how close the Lions? roster is to having its foundation, and bad sports talk radio.

Detroit Lions work out RB C.J. Anderson.
The Lions may be thinking about adding some Kerryon Johnson insurance.

Detroit Lions S Glover Quin was fined $10,026 for unnecessary roughness on Thanksgiving against the Chicago Bears. It came on the play where Quin hit a sliding Chase Daniel in the first quarter of the Bears' win.
Damon "Snacks" Harrison was not fined for a roughing Daniel later in the Thanksgiving game.
