Series History
Detroit is 29-25 against Tampa Bay
Last Game: 9/11/2011 Detroit 27 Tampa Bay 20
Last Win in Detroit: 10/21/2007 Detroit 23 Tampa Bay 16

This will be the 7th meeting between the two since the breakup of the NFC Central Division.

The Lions are 3-3 against the Bucs in that time

Glennon is 62% 11 TDs and 4 ints. Rainey 5.5 YPC on 38 carries and Jackson is having a good season. They still have some firepower but I agree, Detroit better dominate.

McCoy, Revis and David and Barron are no easy task either.

If we lose back to back games vs shitty teams...this one at home....I put serious doubt on making the playoffs this year. If that scenario comes to fruition I think JS should lose his job. Huge game for the lions franchise these next 2 weeks.

rookie QB, down one starting WR and 3rd string RB. This defense better hold TB to less that 14 points.

They won't...that 3rd string running back hasn't been that bad then that no ability to get to the QB ensures even some goofy looking dude like Glennon picks our 30th ranked pass defense apart

if they use him appropriately, vjax can make our secondary look silly.

They can get the play action going if Rainey can do something... if we stop him we can play our twenty yard off break but don't bend defense.

Just gotta find a way to win this game. I don't care how. You figure GB will beat Minny at home this week. The Rams have had 2 weeks to prepare for their home game against the Bears. So hopefully we are back in 1st place all alone heading into our Turkey day beating of the Pack!

The Bucs are not pushover, have lead in 8 of their 10 games. I'm nervous about this game.

Somehow I'm not nervous. I think its because its a game we should win easily that will be close and depending on who makes a big play late / or rain I could see it going either way.

And yes I know its at home but we have such bad luck I would not be surprised if it rained, or snowed inside Ford field.

Personally, I think anyone would be insane to take the Lions with that 9 point spread.

That surprises the hell out of me, 9 point spread? If I was a betting man I'd definitely be putting it on the 'Bucs.

I think the only reason we should be favored at all is because of home field. TB has had close games with a lot of good teams. Im not confident at all with thinking the lions will ever play a complete game.....so ill never be 100% confident we will win. Offense is completely hit or miss, Defense blows, and special teams is headed by guys like spurlock, akers, and fake punts by your punter.

Sooo ya....I woulda been less surprised if tamba was favored in this game than a 9 point spread for the lions.

When I expect the Lions to win, they lose, and often (well...sometimes) vice-versa. Now I expect a close game but it might be a blowout..ala last season vs the AZ Cardinals, who were on a 9 game losing streak, and proceeded to lose their remaining 2 games after defeating Detroit 38-10. Or the season following the Lions infamous 0-16 '08 season, when the STL Rams narrowly avoided matching the Lions historic season of futility by defeating them by a closer score of 17-10...sigh.
