Get StartedYes I have, SS,2b, OF dude he threw that from 1/3 of the outfield grass nobody is going to throw that over from the angle he threw that from without bouncing it, it was Albert running he still had time to get him out ever after it hit Ronny in the leg but he couldn?t find it
Neither they should have just given Albert a hit everybody wins, Iggy gets error for failing to make a great play is how I saw it
Kaline.....I?ll let you settle this. Who SHOULD have the error on that play gone to?
He made a GREAT stop.....but he made a little league throw. That’s not on Ronny
Rodriguez.
A more seasoned 1st bagger prolly comes up with it though
Lol....maybe. Probably not. Iglesias is a professional....a possible gold glove SS....who had a JOGGING Pujols running and time to set his feet....and he made a TERRIBLE throw that hit the lip and got by the 1B who had to come 4? off the bag just to touch the ball.....and you blame the 1B??
Sounds logical?!?!
Given the depth and angle of his throw it was a great effort imo I can?t fault him for that throw at all
What?? Why? Because he made a good stop?? The stop and the throw are two separate plays. Iggy had ALL FUCKING DAY to make that throw...from the grass or not....the guy running wasn’t even trying and he couldn’t get the ball within 6’ of the 1B.
He could have paused a full 2 seconds before making that throw and still gotten Pujols. Adjusted his feet...patted the glove a couple times....made a good throw....but did NONE of those things.
You’re just wrong. It’s ok.
