The best bet if there is one would be win the division. Even though they are closer to the WC there are just so many teams ahead of us. The past month or more we haven't gained on anyone i.e the same teams are still ahead of us.

winning more would improve gaining, last 16 games 8-8 no one gains with that record. Team is just a step forward a step and half back. Too little hitting at times and too bad of pitching at times.

You just can't pass 8 teams.. You lose, half stay with you and the other half moves ahead by more. You win, you gain on half and stay with half. If you're lucky.

And honestly does this team look like it has a run in them? Best chance, if there is one, hopes that the division falls apart.
