Nice to see Cabrera's average go up but one extra base hit? Spring training no more. And Harrison is Fudge on a cracker, and not the good fudge either.

Nice to see them come out and shut down the Indians today after yesterday's game. 8-4. Only 3 other teams have a better win percentage than the Tigers right now.

Clearly, that?s we all predicted.

We all see this team as a dominant force in MLB, right?

Or was it just me?

Just stay healthy and playing miggy is all I care about on that

it's not like he meant for the guy to get a hit or just grooved a fastball...he threw a slider. It was his strikeout pitch that missed it's spot.

That is my point . A waste pitch can?t be hit and you may get the batter to fish he is guarding the plate so much down 0-2. If you want to go after him on 1-2 ok but a 0-2 hit is just not smart to give up.

Good news !

5 Tiger hitters are now batting over .200 ! Up from three yesterday , and Hopefully more to follow!

Greene has recorded a save in each of the Tigers 8 wins. On pace for 65 saves this year! :)

What are you talking about??? We have a .667 win percentage right now. He is on pace for 108 saves. :yay::yay::yay:

so you want every Tigers pitcher to just waste a pitch every time they get an 0-2 count? That's stupid.

Don't care if he has a .289 OPS.

Tigermud is obviously a HUGE Cabrera fan. He has a thread dedicated for him when he passes other players in hits, walks, HRs, etc. I think he might wear Miggy PJ's to bed every night ;)

Miggy had a great individual career as a Tiger. He led the AL in HR twice, 4 batting titles and 2 MVPs. Those days are over and have been for quite some time. Unfortunately, we have to watch this version for another 4+ seasons.

LOL

No Miggy PJ's here. I just have an enormous appreciation for all time Tiger Leaders and enjoy watching the climb I was very reluctant to start that thread though as I can recall following CJ very closely climb all time great leader boards as well then he up and retired on us too soon, that was so crushing and I didn't the same happening to Miggy if I started obsessing too much. but all good for now! I have zero expectations for the Tigers team this year and could care less if they win lose or draw this year.

And Avila is still an idiot,.

**prior to today's game

Let's not ignore the fact that Miggy played hurt in 2017 and then had a short lived 2018 season due to injuries. His first 3 months were in line with his career averages. It was his last 3 months, playing hurt, that he plummeted.

The great Al Kaline failed to have a SLG % above .500 past the age of 32. The same age he last topped .300 BAVG for a FULL season.

Even Alan Trammell struggled to stay off the injury list and produce like he did after turning 32.

I don't remember any Tiger fan trashing these HoF players when they were in the twilight of their careers. The ignorance expressed by some is purely based on disdained well expressed before the last 2 years. It just has been constant since 2017.
