Interesting rule as we all know. But he had possession prior to the goal line and crossed it. So ruling should be td. Way i saw it atleast.

Pretty sure the rule is that if you're going to the ground......you need to possess it all the way through.

Not in that case because the catch was made outside the endzone. He maintained possession and crossed the goal line. That kills the play.
