Game 13: Lions @ Cardinals Thread

Stafford had 101 yards passing today?

This offense is in shambles

It really is. I don?t think he was anywhere near 100% though. It just looked to me like he really couldn?t duplicate his normal throwing motion.

Either way. He was bad. So was the offense. All of it. Golladay was OWNED by Peterson.

Zenner was the bright spot. I bet he starts at Buffalo if KJ doesn?t play. He just hits the hole so much quicker than Blount does. It?s a night and day difference.

Shut Stafford down then. That's what has to be done. No reason for him being out there if he's banged up.
And I thought Golladay was better than Keenan Allen?? He should of took Peterson to school lol. Great call, Mitch lol.
As for our RB situation. Shut down KJ too. He's the future. They won't though and these morons will throw him out there and watch him tear his knee apart the next game...smh

Shutting down Stafford does little at this point. We don?t need to ?develop ? Cassel so there?s nothing accomplished.

I do wish we had a QB to develop. I see no reason we don?t draft one this year. Even a late round pick.

I?d rather shut down Jim Bob more than Stafford.

Cassel can do everything we're asking Stafford to do right now.... for 97 million less. The highlight of Stafford game was an 8 yard seem route to a te after a pump fake. Whoa... crazy skills.

You'll get shit for it but you're not wrong. He's not showing anything special this year. Like he's coasting.

That was an awful call against the eagles... was a fumble and clear recovery. Nfl just can't get out of its own way sometimes.

Lost five spot in the draft order with this win and multiple players went out hurt so that sucks. We really need a high pick so we can get one of those defensive tackles.

I didn’t watch much of the game but wtf was wrong with The damn field. A few lions players were quoted on how bad field conditions were. This is Arizona what the heck is wrong with the damn grass ?

I agree with what you're saying but i'm not talking about developing Cassel. If this pathetic franchise wants Stafford as their QB then they need to shut him down. Especially if he's hurt. I'm not even talking about tanking because that word in the NFL is a joke IMO. Something is obviously wrong eith #9 this yr. Regressing, coaching ...IDK!!! But this needs to be fixed ASAP. We're going nowhere. We're losing the next 3 games. Why risk further injury??

That call was crazy. Clear fumble, THREE Eagles on the ball and the refs call "not a clear recovery" by Philly?? I thought I was having an acid flashback lol

Detroit Lions players were not happy about the field conditions in Arizona.
There?s no doubt the grass condition affected Sunday?s game.
The Detroit Lions may have won on Sunday, but that didn?t mean they were very happy about what transpired in Arizona.

Throughout the entire game, players from both teams were slipping and sliding on the slick grass at State Farm Stadium. Despite the field being ?indoors,? the Cardinals use real turf that they treat specifically for gameday.

However, after Sunday?s game, several Lions players complained about the field conditions.

?That field is so high-tech,? Ricky Jean Francois said according to MLive.com. ?Taking it outside, watering it, doing everything to it, damn near gardening it, and then we come in an NFL game and we?re tearing it up that easily. You pay too much for a stadium like this to have grass that bad. I?m just saying, if you?re going to spend billions, you might as well cover everything.?

The Lions just so happened to suffer a lot of injuries on Sunday, too. And while it may be jumping to conclusions to suggest the field conditions had to do with some of the injuries, it certainly may have played a part:

Not saying the field is to blame here -- but three of the four Lions injuries today (Wagner, Hand and Ansah) have all come in the same general area of a beat up field at Arizona.

The players wouldn?t go as far as saying the field was to blame for injuries, but it?s clear they weren?t very happy with the condition they had to play in.

?The field was awful,? Nevin Lawson said. ?I don?t understand how we got an indoor, and this field was awful.?

Exactly. What did he average, like 3 yards per attempt? PFF needs to go away

4.39. Take out the yards after the catch and it probably drops to 2 something. Only 3 pass and runs over 7 yards. Pathetic.
