Not to sound like an asshole, but the constant need to do ill-fitting tributes in society are getting out of hand. Why is the NFL running a Nelson Mandela moment of silence? I saw some stuff online where Spaghetti-O's tweeted out a Pearl Harbor memorial. Really, is there where things are at now?

I see the connection maybe because of Mandela's tie with sports. But I do whole heartedly agree with you.

I agree. Nelson Mandella was a great man...but HE WAS A 95 YEAR OLD MAN!!!!! The NFL does not need to give a tribute.
