I don't know why they just don't shut Fulmer down for the rest of the year. Same with Joe, bunch of Avila idiots.

I know most teams like to have their young starters have incremental annual increases in their total innings.

Fulmer.

2016 159.0
2017 164.2
2018 116.2

I really wish they would have traded him when his stock was sky high.

This team has rolled over and played dead.

2 starters, and the rest are AAAA, minor leaguers, and dfa'ed who wouldn't sniff the 25 man roster of 80 or 90 percent of ML teams.
FU Chris Ilitch, Al Avila, and dead beats in the executives office.

yes, the players on this team are mostly garbage. Unfortunately, there really isn't much the owners or management can do about it. They are in a re-build and as we all know, teams suck during a rebuild when they have to re-build the MLB team and the farm at the same time. For that, we can thank Mr. I.

But it feels like this roster is 5 to 7 years away from being .500. It feels like a really long rebuild.

What on this current team could be used to rebuild with?

That's a lot of shitty teams..

Mr. I had nothing to do with Mike Pelfrey, Mike Aviles, Mark Lowe, Mike Mahtook, Underwhelming returns for J.D., Upton and Verlander, etc, etc How does Mr. I have to do with guarantying a roster spot to Rule 5 pickup Victor Reyes? Who BTW is and was worthless prior to his pickup. Mr. I also had nothing to do with the drafts through the years.

Now as far a financially...that is a different story, and that has been about 2 years removed.

Mr. I certainly had an impact to the current state. But that impact isn't as great as DD or Al Avila.

You certainly can't believe the Tigers are in the position they are in now because they signed Mike Pelfrey, Mike Aviles, Mark Lowe, & Mike Mahtook

I’d absolutely put most of this current state on Mike Illitch. He didn’t want to accept the fact it was time to sell and rebuild and kept throwing more money at the problem in hopes of getting that championship before he was gone. It shouldn’t be any surprise this team is where it’s at right now and I’m not gonna put it on Al. I can’t imagine this franchise would be in any better position with any other GM since Al took over.

There are three primary epic fails I will never forget about the era that should have been under Mr I.

3. The offense doing absolutely nothing in Baltimore.
2. The Bullpen going to hell in a handbasket in Boston and that stupid officer not going over to help Torii.
1. The offense shitting the bed in 2012 vs the Giants. The Tigers should have been able to beat that team. Shut down by a steady diet of breaking balls just haunts to no end.

I never blamed Mr I for these items, that was all on Dumbrowski for the pens, and the offense for never being able to slow the game down when it mattered most.

It's hard to trade for a rebuild when you're winning. And that's why we didn't.. No one starts a rebuild when you're winning divisions. So its easy to say MR. I is at fault but the biggest problem imo is bad drafts and low return or no return on some very good players.. To my understanding Mr. I wasn't part of those processes.

Jordan Zimmerman
Upton
Prince Fielder

Those HUGE mistakes trying to chase titles. Add in extending Miggy at the absolute worst time. Those decisions were all on Mr I.
