Game #16: Detroit Tigers @ Milwaukee Brewers, Monday April 14th, 2025 7:40 Pm

Colt is heading for a Toledo stint soon unless he gets going.
Not sure I see who would come up in his place. I think the first option to go down would be Kriedler. Unless they don't think we have a CF anywhere. But someone will get dumped when Vieling comes back, Perez maybe too. JHen might be an option too.

Colt will get a long leash. Kriedler is first for sure. I wonder if they could do without Maeda ?

Tiger of the day on tv

Holy cow I looked up Topper Rigney on baseball reference and he passes away on my birthday June 7th 1972 when I was 11.
A different game back then . His 1924 season was really good.
Ty Cobb was the manger then. 102 BB and only 39 K’s crazy.

Lead league in sacrifice hits 4 times lol. Guess he was a good shortstop but was out of the league after 6 seasons
He had a hip issues that turned out to be infected molars.
What the heck. He argued with Cobb who traded him to Boston.
Year later Boston traded him to Washington for Meyer .
He played 45 more games. Meyer played 15 more season collected over 2000 plus hits.

Poor Maeda.
You can never use this guy in a close a critical game ever. He is just not very good. Shutout gone. He got the first two out than hit a. Batter. He just cant throw strikes consistently.
