Game 16: Lions @ Vikings Thread

Better be an offensive guru. We need to straighten Stafford out.

Didn't you see what Stafford said, essentially he does not think he needs any help.

Eventually every QB is going to see the wisdom of Stafford and throw balls falling backwards for no reason.

I imagine they sit him down and mix him a batch of gourmet kool-aid (OH YEAAAAH!), review the season and give him hope that he might keep his job by not firing him after the game and making him walk back to detroit and then BAM! The next day he wakes up and sees it on sportscenter. Smug. Just like him B-)

Would love that. Still that smug bastard will be content with the 12 mil they still have to pay him and go coach HS football in Hawaii, while telling everyone how smart he is.

Cam Newton is not smart.

Erin Andrews interviewing him...

Andrews: Your off next week, what do you do on your weekend? Do you watch?

Cam: We have to get better?

Andrews: Where?

Cam: In Charlotte

i don't know how you guys follow this horrible franchise.

i've only been a Lions fan for 5 years (didn't used to like football) and i'm already going crazy, at a loss for words.

You learn to start drinking your own tears. It's how we get by for as long as we have

When we marched down the field to start the second half, I was upset. Here the season was already over, and we were going to win a completely meaningless game that might make the FO think the coaches didn't suck. When Akers missed that FG, I thought finally we would give up and at least realize not to bring back Akers (small victories). But then Minny had to go and out-tank us.

Luckily, we pulled out the loss after a spectacular special teams breakdown. And then perfectly NY and Tennessee pulled out wins to boost us up another couple spots in the draft. Whether Buffalo pulls out a win or not, I have to say this was a productive day for the Lions. We assured the firing of these terrible coaches. We gave one more reason not to resign Akers. And, we jumped as high as we could in the draft.

One of the more disappointing seasons on record for me as a fan watching these clowns, talent might be there but lacks intelligence and disapline to get over the hump...I find staffords attitute concerning can't improve if you won't admit you suck
