DEEPER DISCUSSIONS.
Totally Tigers

The national media has been putting out a series of rankings about teams. Lately, many of them are identifying the top 10 players at each position.
You do see a correlation between how many players a team has and how well they performed during the year.
For the Tigers, they had 3 players make the list of top 10 at their positions:
Tarik Skubal – #2
Riley Greene – #5
Kerry Carpenter – #8
In their division, the Guardians had 4 players.

Overall, in MLB, the top 100 players list only has 2 Tigers on it: Skubal and Greene.
Which one of these categories would help the Tigers the most?
Two Tigers who rank at or near the very top for their position.
Three – four Tigers who make the top 100 list but sit lower down in their positional rankings.
Is it better to have several elite players at the top of MLB or more players who rank among the top 100 in MLB but do not hold elite status?

Today’s blog addresses this question and allows readers to share their thoughts in more detail. And hopefully, to actively engage with others by responding to their posts and creating back-and-forth discussion threads. The more the merrier!
For this one blog only, you’ve got 6 sentences max to share your thoughts. Of course, you can also respond to other readers.
