Game 17: Vikings @ Lions Thread

Sounds like this is the same injury that Kelce suffered 2 days before playing us this year. He was a game time decision and wanted to play but they held him out for precaution. So maybe there might be a shot laporta plays? Would be nice to see him moving around this week.

Lions Pro Bowl TE Sam LaPorta suffered a hyperextended knee and a bone bruise, source said after the MRI. He?s likely to miss some time, but as coach Dan Campbell said, not as bad as it could?ve been.

Dan Campbell said rookie TE Sam LaPorta has an outside shot to play Sunday. Said they'll know in 48 hours. He said they are talking days and not weeks. Certainly good news.

Agreed. Hopefully we can handle the Rams without him and get him back much closer to 100% the following week.

Great job Brad Holmes

Hutch is close
Branch got some votes too

The reason you don't need to draft a high round WR. There are just so many options after the first round. Congrats to Amon-Ra. Sewell too.

Amon ra is a rarity..most 4th round picks arent like him. Lions nailed this pick

Glad we have a gm that can find day 2 and day 3 big time talent

Guys all over the place 2nd round up that have good careers. No need to draft a top 12 WR who's comes in injured and catches 25 balls in two years.

Jameson is the speed deep threat..need those too

4th round plenty of bad wrs too

Holmes great eye for talent and hard workers

Got to pay St Brown and Sewell and Alim McNeil either this year or next

I don't care what he is injured suspended and 25 catches in 2 years. For the 12th pick? And 14.8 is not a deep thread. He might be a deeper threat but no deep threat.

This post shows a true lack of football knowledge. Tyreke Hill is maybe the biggest deep threat the NFL has ever seen. True track star speed combined with elite quickness and acceleration. 14.1 yards per catch in his career.

It?s a different game. Get out of 1988. ?Deep threats? also catch about 25 ish WR screens and gadget goal line plays a year.

Randy Moss. 15.7. Tied for 139th all time. Want to know one of the people he?s tied with? Jeff Chadwick. So by your argument?..Jeff Chadwick is as good a deep ball WR as Randy Moss, right?

First round all pros
Ceedee Lamb, Mike Evans, Aiyuk

Aj brown 2nd rounder titans, eagles gave up a 1st for him

Tyreek Hill, dolphins gave up 1st, 2nd. Two 4ths and 6th in trade to get hill

Mitch what were you saying about not using a 1st for all pros?

Exactly, 139th. Randy Moss did a lot more than just go deep. That's why he's only at 15.7.

I never said anything about all pro's in the first round. Sure they're out there. Btw, Hill was a 5th round selection. Who cares what he was traded for later on. 5th round, and he was healthy at the start.
