Game #18: Detroit Tigers @ Milwaukee Brewers, Wednesday April 16th, 2025 1:10 Pm

You're not understanding me,. When Colt plays why not him 2B, and Torres DH like it is today?
Again, lefty-righty. Not my calculations, but AJ's. That formula seems to prevail over all others. Colt has been the odd man out in terms of execution as well.

I'm talking about when a RH is pitching and they auto DH Keith instead playing in the field. Nothing to do with lefty right matchups

Tigers 4th
Tork K’s
Greene (3-2 count) Fouls a few then k’s on a ball.
Baez singles
Nido singles
Sweeney (3-1) count 3-1.

17 innings scoreless.

Then you might as well send Greene there. And take a few others with him.
Look at Toledo .. who are we calling up ? They are 5-11 and only a few are hitting . Maybe Jung. Lee played 3rd last night and had a good game.

I know that but so far this season Keith, Greene - I don't see a difference offensively. Though at least Keith hits the ball occasional. So why suggest to send Keith but not Greene.

Greene has a track record of being a average + to good hitter. Plus, he is good at defense. Keith has no track record of being a plus hitter and a track record of being a poor defender. Given his age, lack of MLB experience, and the fact that they have a suitable replacement, I would send him down.

What do you expect when he got no snaps (so to speak) at 2B this off-season or ST. Lots of players improve in D. They just never gave him a chance. And then they want him to be a good defensive 1B right away.
