This may be the worst 30 AB stretch of Riley Greene's career. He has hit the ball hard maybe twice, never ever on time.

Matt Manning returned to the rotation after his very interesting relief appearance this weekend..the results were like every other start he's made for the last 2 years..frustrating..with bad command.

Gleybor Torres is as slow as you think he is..he's slower than both Spencer Torkelson and Justyn Henry Malloy..and Jake Rogers.

Torkelson and Carpenter are the first pair of Tigers duo since 2009 to hit 5 homeruns
in the first 16 games of the season (Granderson and Inge).
Carpenter and Torkelson are the 4th duo of Tigers in franchise history to achieve this.

What do you expect when he got no snaps (so to speak) at 2B this off-season or ST. Lots of players improve in D. They just never gave him a chance. And then they want him to be a good defensive 1B right away.

I was saying the same thing last year. What I have read is the Tigers were able to sign McCongle because they signed Clark for less than slot. I have no idea if that is true. I also don't know if Clark or McCongle will ever be impact players. It seems like Langford has already somewhat established himself
