Wonder what the record is for BBing runs consecutively.


Most walks issued in an inning by one pitcher is 8 by "Dolly" Gray of the 1909 Senators, so likely at least 4 of those BBs were with the bases loaded. (considering that there may have been a DP which would erase a walked runner).

Were they consecutively? Maybe 3 walks, then a double, 3 more walks then a HR etc.?
 
Interesting stat: 6 times 1 or fewer runs (T3), 6, maybe 7, times 6 or more runs (T2).

That was during the "deadball" era, but you may be right about hits scoring walked batters.

It was during only the second inning of the game, so Wash kept the starter in...lol.

There is no boxscore of that game, but the final score was White Sox 6 Senators 4...so most of those runs must have scored on walks, not hits and walks.
