Game 23: San Diego Padres @ Detroit Tigers, Monday April 21st 6:40 Pm

Tigers 4th

Greene BB
Tork single
Keith (2-2)K's
Jung (3-2) BB
Baez k's (4th batter who has failed to get runner home from 3rd tonight with less than 2 outs)
Sweeney unlike others tonight can't pick Baez up.

Benetti just mentioned tork has a 6 face hitting streak. Got me thinking, when I was a kid they always made a big deal about hitting streaks to the point that you always knew which player in the league had the longest.l current streak. It's been years since I've heard anything about a hitting streak. Wonder what changed?
To many strikeouts maybe

Wow that at bat vs Tatis was master class by montero. If this kid can get more consistent he'll be damn good.

Just like that he gives up a homer to the next batter. Under 100 exit velocity. That homer was lucky as hell. All wind

Montero is so Maddening.
Top 5th
Out
Hr
Single
BB. Sigh (He walks way to many guys)
5-4 (2 outs) safe at first.
Single makes it 6-4.
Clown show by both teams allows last out to be made.
Sweeney 1st runner 2nd.

Need those add on runs against this team .
6-4 bottom 5th.

Montero not going 5 almost guarantees Kenta pitching tonight lol. Think I would've let him try to finish the inning

Tigers 5th
Nido 1 pitch 4-3.
Torres single (clown show out at 3rd)
Mckinstry single
Greene G-3

6-4 end 5th.
Sadly tigers should have a bunch more runs.
