I don't think I can do extra innings today, stupid tigers will just lose in extras now

I can see where this is on Dumb Brad PR for Avila and then having to have Hicks come on an catch leads to bad game calling!

Tigers players, hold your heads high. It not your fault. B/C after all U R working for the worst manage team around.

Anyway my wife picked out a pair of sapphire earrings but they're needed to be some adjustments to them, so I went to the bar for a couple of pops while that was being done.

So anyways my wife found me at the bar and told me while I was there she had found a couple more pieces of jewelry she wanted me to buy her.

Drinking can get expensive man.

Dammit, I have been over doing the Lions draft, and although, I knew they were losing, just reading all the upset on this thread, got my blood boiling and was ready to curse at them and add the swear jar link until I read Tinsel's post.
LOL.

NOTABLE:
Tigers starter Michael Fulmer has now gone at least six innings in all five of his starts this year. (He's gone exactly six in four of them). He has five quality starts, defined as a start that lasts at least six innings with three or fewer runs.

There were two unusual and lengthy video reviews on Saturday. In the fifth inning, Fulmer buzzed a pitch inside on White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson, who was insistent that he got hit. Home plate umpire Doug Eddings ruled it a foul-tip strike.

A video review was inconclusive about whether Anderson was hit, although it seemed to show the ball definitely did not strike Anderson's bat.

However, since balls and strikes are not reviewable, the count remained 0-1, not 1-0. White Sox manager Rick Renteria protested to no avail.

The second review occurred in the sixth inning, when Nicholas Castellanos emphatically insisted that he was safe at first base on a grounder to short. The replay appeared to show that he narrowly beat Anderson's throw, but apparently it was conclusive. The out call was upheld.

The Tigers managed to scored a run in the sixth but missed an opportunity for a bigger inning.

ROARS:
Justin Upton had a single, walk, stolen base, and RBI and was the only Tiger to get on base more than once until the ninth inning.

Victor Martinez hit a home run in the ninth for the Tigers third run of the game, and had an RBI in the first.

HISSES:
Michael Fulmer was not terribly effective today. He gave up three earned runs, a home run, three walks, four hits, and struck out three in six innings.

Tigers offense just couldn?t do much against the White Sox pitchers. They managed six hits but struck out nine times, including three times in the bottom of the eighth.

Justin Wilson, who had been reliable thus far, couldn?t get it done in the 10th. He entered a tie game and couldn?t hold it down.

STATS AND INFO:
Jose Abreu hit his 13th and 14th career home runs against the Tigers this afternoon, and his career batting average against Detroit was .338 coming into play today.

David Robertson had not blown a save until the Tigers got to him in the ninth.

The home run to Melky Cabrera was the first hit and earned run Justin Wilson has surrendered this season.
