No Carpenter is concerning. His hammy must be acting up ? Andy Batting 4th :/

So that is the Torres Valenti on 97.1 Fm is talking about. That was such a routine play too.

Tigers 1st
Malloy 3-1.

Kaboom ! Torres 402 foot homer to left. !

Greene singles (to 3rd)
Ibanez singes
Tork BB (man that 3-1 pitch was juicy)
McKinstry K’s (runner on 3rd again less then 2 outs)
Dingler K’s

Tigers stand freaking 3 runners . So damn frustrating.
So let this guy off the hook.

And another rally fizzles.
We are so bad with a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs. Can’t remember the last sac fly. I know we have them. ZM has to put that damn ball in play. Do we have anyone who shortens up with 2 strikes and hit the ball the other way ? Maybe Greene. Dingler sure wasn’t.

The Tigers are 4th in MLB in strikeouts. Two of the teams with more also have more home runs; 1 (the Yankees) significantly more. The one team with more strikeouts and fewer home runs is Colorado. The other team (the Red Sox) are ahead of us in every offensive category except triples.

Tigers 2nd
Baez sees what 1 or 2 pitches popout 2nd base or cf.
Sweeney weak popout to center playing himself to Toledo soon.
Now batting .200
Lead off hitter Malloy now batting .174. Least he sees a lot of Pitches and walks a bunch . Weak popout to first. lol. Toledo in his future unless he starts hitting. He does have a .356 obp .

Tigers 3rd
Torres K’s
Greene K’s
Ibanez infield single (E-5 throw)
Tork (3-2 count)K’s way outside changeup.

Hart is a lefty. AJ for some reason still won't play Carp against leftys much
Think I just saw they are doing more testing on it. You are right this is not good news. Hopefully it’s just what you said lefty pitcher .
